Default 06' vs 07'

Hey, I'm totally new to the whole sport bike scene. However, today I rode my first bike (R6) and totally enjoyed it. I'm only looking for something to cruise around town in and the Ninja 250 seems to fit my needs and finances. I'm 23 years old and weigh 200lbs., will this bike be to small for me? Lastly, are there any major differences between the 06's and 07' models? I plan on purchasing new unless I can strike a deal on something used. However, I'm in ND and finding a used bike is tough!

The only difference between 06 and 07 is the color scheme, and the07 wheels are silver instead of black. EVERYTHING else is exactly the same.

You may want to take the 250R out for a ride before you buy one. After riding a larger cc bike, some people will be somewhat dissapointed with the 250R's power. I personally love the 250! It's a great bike for the money, and the fuel savings I gained over driving my car everyday was over $100 per month!
