RE: radio problems 1996 kaw voyager
Welcome to the site redneckaw12, the Voyager, I am guessing is a huge road bike with all the bells and whistles. I don't pretend to know anything about the bike, but if I had to guess I would get into the ferring and check out the main fuse to the radio, sometimes they build up corrosion in the fuse holder. It may just need a good cleaning and pull the spring a little to give it more push contact. Let us know what you find out, and post a pic or two if you get a chance. Again welcome, and glad you found us.

welcome bro!!
i know someone who has a electra glide with the same problem.. i think it ended up being a short in the amp section, and it world heat up the amp to the point of tripping the thermal protection.. then when it cooled a few seconds later, it would turn on, and do it again.. if its cycling like this, its a short usually on the amp board, or in the speaker wiring... if its intermittent, you have a power loss/ short, or a ground issue to contend..
keep us posted!
