New Member With First Bike, Ninja zx6.....Hi!
Well, I've been wanting a bike for some years now and finally got my first one. It's a 1994 Ninja ZX6, black, with less than 3600 miles on it (supposedly). I find that hard to believe for a 13 year old bike, but it seems to run good. Looks as though it's been dropped a few times...there's some scrapes that appear to have been painted, and a crack or two. Dual pipes are scuffed. Nothing major....still looks great at first glance. Looked at the bike at night (before buying it) and didn't quitesee all the scratches and such...so I'm a bit bummed, but it's ok being my first bike I guess. I'm just a perfectionist. Paid $2400 for it...good deal?
I'm sure I'll be around here alot...if not posting, atleast reading...as I have much to learn and will be wanting to fix up some of the small stuff on it asap. Look foward to chatting and learning from you all!

Congrats on the new ride! 3600 miles does seem a bit low for that old of a bike, but some people only take their bikes out occasionally. If it runs well, that is the most important thing.

Welcome to the asylum.
It's good you have a bike that's not in pristine shape being a newbie. It will fall over a few times
and it won't be as painful on you trying to fix.

Congrats also on the new two wheels. Never spend alot for your first bike. There's always time for newer ones down the line. Don't worry about the miles, some people only ride a few times a month. I would have a dealer look it over before you get too crazy on it, just to be safe....by the way, my friend has an 05 R1 that just turned 20,000 miles!...seriously!
Enjoy!....
