I have read a little of both worlds but some reasureance would feel good just bought my klx250 and have logged 34 miles on it. I find myself wanting to open it up a little more and it is real hard to keep under 4000 rpms thought appreciated i have heard to stick with it and not to cause it might burn oil later any help would be appreciated, love the bike just want to be safe thanks.

Yeah they told me the first 6 hours or so at the dealer that is, but have seen a site saying to "ride it like you stole it" so i am following the manual but its 65 mph to work at 16 miles at who knows how many rpms, redline is 10500 wont go over 45 in 6th,at that pace. Anyways mayby i just let the suckers pass me till i get her there.
