Smile New Girl from Louisiana

Hello everyone! My name is Cari. I'm 22 and I'm quite experienced in automotive mechanics. I've owned a few Hondas, and I currently drive a 2009 Civic SI coupe. I LOVE my car My friend came across a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja 250r, so I traded my Integra project for it two weeks ago. I'm in the process of getting it running (just have to adjust carburetor floats and get a new battery). I'm stoked to start riding and modifying!

Welcome to KF

Not much to modify on the 2fiddy, but of the general suspension and mechanical parts. It feels like a moped to me while riding it. But a good dependable ride. Congrats. I have the '07 maroon model.

Hey Cari, go take an MSF Basic Rider Course. It will give you the tools and confidence to significantly elevate your enjoyment and safety riding your kicking new scoot! ;-)

Greetings Cari, welcome to the forums. I love it when a woman knows stuff about mechanics. I think more girls should take auto shop in high school. Like was mentioned take the safety class, learn to ride within your own experience level, and stay safe.

Thanks everyone! I plan on taking a safety course as soon as possible. I grew up with my grandpa overhauling tractors and both of my parents ride, so its sort of in my blood.
