Thanks for the welcome.
Been off biking some 20 odd years, but of course it never quite leaves you.
Just bought a 1983 Kawasaki GT 750 shaft with 32000 Km on the clock, stock standard except for a 4-1 Cowley exhaust, for ZAR8000 which is about US$1000! Has a couple of small niggles, like #1 not always firing (coil I think) and the carbs maybe need a good cleaning, setting up & synch. When running, she's too rich, (new plugs) sooty black except #2.

good call on checking the synch and the carb setup. I have also seen a bad plug boot/wire cause the same issue.

 

Welcome, Ben. Glad to have you with us. Classic ride, you have there. (You might like some stainless brake lines; will give you better, firmer feel at the lever.)
