Default Hi. I'm Mynoven, and I'm an alcoholic. lol/jk

Hi guys(people I should say). I'm new here. I live in Bremerton,WA(Bummertown). I have just inherited some things from my grandfather that I'm going to sell. In a month or 2 I will finally be able to buy a bike. I was looking for some advice. I would like to get a 2008 Ninja 250r, but I'm 6'1" and 187lbs, and I hear you can out grow that quick. My friend has a 2000 750 zx-7 he is trying to sell me for about $2,000. It has under 6,000 miles and he is the original owner. He has taken very good care of it. I'm just afraid it might be a little to much power.I have ridden a dirt bike (750cc). It fit good, but took a bit to get us to the power. Thats about all the experience I've had on a motorcycle. The rest of my experiences have been on mopeds and regular mountain bike and bmx biking. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

P.S> I don't want to spend to much either in case I lay it down.

Hey man welcome, so you live in Bremerton? That's like 2 and a half hours from me. You live so close to the Tahuya State Forest that I think you should get a KLX an take advantage of the trails over there.

Buy the 750 and just take it easy at first. Do not be afraid of the power, just respect it and remember, it only goes fast if you twist the throttle. No matter what bike you buy, you can get hurt by being stupid. That is a great buy for 2K!
And PS, welcome to KF.

The front popped up threw and me off the back. My cousen couldn't stop laughing. I was about 15 ta the time. I learnd much in 3 sec flat...lol
