Default FNG reporting in

Sup ya'll.

I'm an old ( well, may as well be, 31 in 3 days :P ) rider but been out of riding since I was in college. Decided to get myself a bike so I've settled on the 2007 Ninja 500R. I'm 6'3" and about 235... do you think this will be enough bike for me? I'm not looking to showboat ( I value my life :P ) but I do want to have a bit of power when I wanna play on the long, straight roads.

I need to go get my Motorcyclist endorsement in the next few days. Back when I rode in college ( Indiana rules were more lenient than here ) I had my bike for a year and only used the permit ( yeah I know, I was stupid - being young does that ).

Anyhow, figured I'd shoot a warning for those around the Memphis area to stay off the sidewalks... I'll be riding soon.

It's kinda funny though, I just found out about The Dragon ( Deal's Gap ) being in Tennessee so I'll have to visit that once I'm 100% comfortable w/ my bike. Again though, I'm NOT going to ride like a squid out there, I just want to experience the area in a safe and leisurely manner.

I may take the course at a later time for the insurance break ( I do know how to ride, did it for a year in college ) but for now I'm just going to get my endorsement so I can get my bike.

There is always the advanced riders course.

1+ on taking it easy. No need to end your life before your time's up.

Welcome to the forums, but I have to say that guys that have been riding for years even decades have gleaned great stuff from the class.
