Wow..what can I say. I bought my first bike last week and im very impressed. Ive wanted to ride since I was haulin *** on my big wheel, but never got around to pickin up a motorcycle till last week. I bought a 1996 Ninja ZX9, it was a Vince & Hines pipe, custom paint job and many more. My friends took me to a empty parking lot to a football stadium and were givin me the basics. I was up and cruisin the streets by the next day..but not the freeway yet. I have alot of respect for that bike and reminded constantly by my friends about riding smart. Here are some pics of the bike. Enjoy.

counter lean, weight the left peg when going right, it helps welcome to the forums and gear up. also look for keith codes twist of the wrist book and a msf course. thatll get you going. the book covers alot of basic skills and teckniques as well as racing so ignore the going fast part for now.
