Well, it just hasn't been run in about 6 years- but it was running when I parked it. No mechanical reason at the time why I didn't use it. It was bought new by my father and used by him until he died in '91. I used it very little until about the year 2000.

But now it has sat outside for the past year. Seat and side covers were stored inside. Have better Honda mirrors for it along with the pathetic owner's manual and the awful tools that came with it.

No battery, grips gone due to time/rot, and some rust on screws/fittings. Exhaust system "looks" OK but I'm sure that it has some rust and may fall apart.

The condition of the inside of the engine? Good question. I would expect it needs to be at least partially disassembled and inspected.

Probably put it on eBay stating all of the above.

not trying to be mean but have you ever seen that 650 scooter made. I've seen one up close and no offense guy's it moves pretty good. It's not like those other scooters you see out there with a bunch of cars behind them all pissed off. here's a pic
Theres a scooter like that by my house, has 500 and something cc's and registers 120 mph

Weren't the Honda Trail 70s back in the day clutchless? You just shifted them?
