i flushed it too many times to count before riding it. The peice is so small it may have came out and i didn't even see it. anyhow i've ridden it a bunch and she's still a dragon.

was it running when you flushed it out?
and i agree with deej alot, running with metal chunks flying around your gearbox can shred gears and be a bearings worst nightmare. put the bike up on a stand, put it in gear and listen to the gearbox and flywheel housing. if you hear random ticking or taking you could be in some trouble.

no man i flushed cold many times before running it. i then ran it easy on the street for a bit and droped oil and filteragain 3 times. i ran the snot out of it indoors and it runs great. I think it came out, or is caught up inan oil gallery or a screen.

well for your sake i hope it came out. if its not making any abnormal noises im most likely did, and sompething like that wouldnt really do anything to the perfrmance until it got stuck between two gears and jammed up the bike. but if its really that small the gears could just crush it... either way if i were you id change my oil every ride. to save $ run the stuff you just drained through from the bike through a fine sifter then back into the bike for the next ride, rather than buying fresh quarts everytime.
