Kx250f has high compression
Hi guys I'm a new member first off all.
Now I've had my engine rebuilt but it seems to have heaps of compression while kicking over.
Bike runs great starts easy but it just seems to be have way too much force to kick over.
Bike has done 3 hours since rebuild valves are at 006" timing marks are correct I've even replaced the auto decompression lever thinking it might be worn.
It way harder to kick over compared to my old 2007 kx450f and current 2012 kx450f
Thanks

Take the valve cover off and see were all that compression is being built up at / when the camshafts are turning. With out that knowledge or have a bore scope in the cylinder head watching the internal function it could be a few things...

it was the camshaft auto decomp that was worn.

But thanks for following up, Carbyman, it might help someone in the future searching for the solution to the same problem. Finding the same question without an answer gets frustrating.
