Hi I have here a kx250 its been stood for two years now won't start. ..drained fuel put new in...emptied carb of old....put shot of carb cleaner through it...plug sparking ok....any thoughts?

 

If it's been sitting for 2 years your best bet is to take off the carburator and clean it from A to Z, make sure the floats and OK, take off the exhausts make sure theirs no mouse nest (Trust me, it sounds stupid but it's happened to me on my snowmobile!) change the spark plug none the less even if it looks nice. Go through your airbox, clean the air filter, or take off the air filter just to try and start it without the air fitler. Put some premium fuel and make sure to mix it properly. Make sure all your gas lines are not clogged or kinked, realyl start fro mthe basics!
