I hear ya, Had a 92 kx250 and the basket was really notched up. I just took a dremel and filed them down a bit. I think they are the same but not 100%. Was going to buy a Hinson but way too much cash.

thats the problem, the basket has hit the dust with two broken teeth and i was hoping for an alternative to the open wallet surgery that is required for a billet jobbie. must be a mobike mechanic somwhere who can give me advice on this. might try kawasaki directly but wont be holding my breath. happy riding everone and remember, you only die once so make it a good'un!

I busted off one of the4 screw posts off on the basket because like and idiot I stuck a scew driver between that andteeth to get the main nut loose.duh!...see previous post. Anyway I took the basket to a radiator shop and he welded it back on. Cost only 25 bucks! Was good as new. Maybe try get a welded and see if it stays and if it don't , there's good ole' ebay.

Sounds good, let me know how it works out. I see your from Scotland, that's got to be some sweet riding. My brother was in Edinborough for a week and showed some amazing photos. Being half Scotish and half Irish I'd like to get there one day, maybe ship the bike over and just travel around. But until I come into a bunch of money I'll be here! Cheeers!
