I have a 92 kx 250 and replaced the front forks with ones from a 91 kx 250. The front brake mount on the fork is 2 1/2inches center to center on the 91 forks. The mount on a 92 is larger, about 4 inches. The front brake caliperassembly numbers match for a 91 and 92. The only difference from the parts finder listis the front disc and front caliper holder assembly (figures). Does anyone know if the 91 front caliper holder assemblywill match the 92 front caliper to mount to the fork? I thinkwill but could not confirm from local kaw dealer.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

88-92, 93-00, 00-04. theyre all the same bikes and most of the parts should be interchangealbe no problem.

 

The reason the brake mounting is bigger on the '92 is beacase 92 onwards have dual piston calipers
