zeta handguards w/leds
#2
1. Note how fast your signals are flashing in stock configuration.
2. Remove the bulbs from your front signals and see if the flash rate of the rear sigals increases by much. If the flash rate is still acceptable, you should be OK without the resistors. If the flash rate is too fast, then you will either need the resistors or a solid state flasher (either one will work).
The solid state flasher lets you use any kind for blinker (LED or Incandescent) without the need for resistors.
Resistor are a bit wastful as well because one of the benefits of LEDs is that they consume less power. By adding resistors, you are consuming the same amount as the normal bulbs were, not to mention the heat those resistors generate, which will cause them to eventually fail.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Zeta with blinkers
I have an '07 and installed the Zeta's with blinkers over 2 years ago. It was a straight forward application and haven't had any issues with the blink rate. My only comment is that the positioning of the gaurds is significant since you want the lens to be correct for visibility to all oncoming traffic. I have the stock front signal lights also.
