Favorite non-performance: Acerbis 3.7 fuel tank, engine skid plate, and Nuetech Tubliss. Man, looking at that skid plate now, it has taken one heck of a beating.

Least favorite: Heck, I can't really think of any of the mods I have as being in this category. I'm bound to be missing something, but nothing comes to mind right now.

This is great. I am getting some great ideas here. I hope this will be useful for others as well.

Favorite, getting the ergos correct, bars, grips, bigger footpegs.
least favorite, FMF quiet core 4. reason is that although it is light and breathes better, it is loud and needs servicing. Someone needs to investigate producing an aftermarket exhaust that is quiet, needs no servicing, breathes and most of all, lightweight.
I love a quiet stealthy bike but hate the weight and restricted flow.

Two of the best recent mods: Seat Concepts seat and Pit Posse bar risers.

Favourite? Easy: Heated Grips! Extends the riding season to year round! I also like the rear carrying rack because it allows for extra grip when trying to extricate the bike from mud bogs & I can strap a case of beer to it!
Least Favourite? Hmmm: I don't think that dicking around with the air box lid (on, off, snorkel, no snorkel) really did a whole lot for me. I settled on leaving the lid on with no snorkel but I am not sure it netted me much improvement in power or increased the intake noise like many claim...

Ok point me in the direction of heated grips. Last week I rode in sleet and cold and they would have been nice.

You can get cheap heated grips for $10 with intermittent results, or get a pair of Oxfords for ~$120 (~$80 shipped from ebay) and be guaranteed heat down to -20C, and they won't kill your battery (switch is smart and will auto shut-off if it detects low battery).

Thank you for the heads up. This may be my first Farkle. Well my HID headlight is on the way so...

Best Free Non performing mod was removing that stupid strap that goes across the back half of the seat. 09 model, the 06 and 07's might not have had that. Also disabling the kick stand switch and cutting off the beaver tail.

Favorite Non Performing mod that was purchased, Michelin AC10 Tires, 13 tooth counter sprocket, Tusk hand guards, Ricochet skid plate, 12oclock labs speedo fix, the Dyno Jet sticker, bar risers.
