I did not order one. Here in Florida we have sand, not rocks! The stock one is adequate for my usage.

He did not have a picture, but give him a call and see what happens.

 

I called and spoke to David. He asked for pictures so I sent him the one I linked to in my ADVrider thread along with the Kawasaki parts fiche pics of both the 250S and 300R frames. He's going to confirm and get back to me.

Well sort of. I spoke to Dave twice (the same guy you talked to). We came to the conclusion that the only solution is the bash plate I posted a picture of which it turns out came from a company called CRD. FourStrokesOnly.com claims to sell CRD even though the company's own website is defunct. I've just not been able to reach them on the phone to confirm.

 

OK. The CRD website is back up now. They are a French company with a couple of distributors in the US. http://www.crdoffroad.com lists their skid plate for the KLX250/KLX300 (CRD Part number 2314) for $129. That seems a bit steep to me so I'm going to keep searching for a cheaper source. FourStrokesOnly.com has them for the same price. I'll order one when I get some bucks.
