you find a cobweb on your bike. Oh, the shame! The guilt!
Seriously, I went for a 40 mile spin exactly a week ago. Shut the petcock, drained the bowl and parked it in my garage. Went to the Big Guava this weekend to see my dad and when I got back this evening and came into the house through the garage I noticed a spider web spanning the throttle side mirror and brake lever. Cleared it off and then absolutely had to take a check ride. Felt much better afterwards.
I know some of you have to park your bikes for extended periods each winter or risk frostbite. I'll admit that sometimes I take for granted I can pretty much ride whenever I want. The cobweb was a great reminder never to take that for granted.
