RE: You knew this was coming...
DC4500,
My mom lives in the Randolph-Robertson subdivision on Ashland Dr across (and not far) from the LDS Temple.
I'll be taking my KLX up to McCall next week for vacation, love that place!
You'll get use to just ignoring Iowaguy, he posts on the pretense of "just trying to help" but then uses the opportunity tointerject condescending crap.
When I inspected my Kouba screw carefully I noticed that the tip was not as sharply pointed as the stock one, I wonder if this is the reason for the trouble in getting a correct setting with it and it also was an experience in frustration to attempt an adjustment on the side of the trail, I sure wanted this little bugger to work as well as others have got it to.

Yeah, I agree I wish the Koubalink worked. It's nearly impossible to adjust the stock screw with the bike running. Oh well, trial and error. I meant to ask you about your insignia. Were you anit-submarine warfarein the Navy? I was inseveral P-3 Orion squadrons up and down the East coast.

Yeah,
I flew the Kaman SH-2F in HSL-31 and 35 and then went on to the C-9B in the USNR, currently finishing up a transition from the KC-135E into "R" with the Utah ANG (151st ARW) part-time.
Left seater on C750 and G-V for a large company as a primary means of supporting my family now days.
