I am guessing that you are going for a new seat. I am basing this on the fact that you did the gel insert seat mod early on and have made a couple of comments to the effect that you don't really like the way it looks.
How'm I doin'?

Bullseye!

I'm keeping the stock color scheme with two-tone Kawasaki green sides and black top.
My gel seat was comfy but like you surmized I eventually got tired of its pregnant bulge. My DIY job, while a learning experience, was not very good in the looks department. A little while back, I tried to fix up the looks by removing more of the stock foam and fitting in more memory foam to smooth it out. While it looks a whole lot better and looked comfy, there was not enough support and it was almost like sitting on the seat pan. Needless to say, that had to go so I bought another chunk of foam and now I'm pretty much back to the stock seat.
Coming to the realization that I needed professional help, in more ways than one I'm sure, I did some research and Renazco is the undisputed best in dual sport seats. Their seats are a work of art and each one is a totally custom one-off fit to your weight, inseam, riding style, sitting position, and the pattern you want. Too bad they take so long ... I want it now.

Yeah,
I was really suprised that their price is about $100.00 less than places that do similar work. Time to Ebay a seat and send it their way

Ahhh, that was going to be my next guess... Tremor beat me out!!!
I have been a bit perplexed by the 'dip' in our seats as the dirt bikes I've ridden before are all kind of flat across the seat.
I was eye-ing the very last seat at the bottom of this link to try to get something a bit more 'dirtbike' like...

Let me know what you think... I would, of course, get it wraped in the Green/black standard cover....

If you can afford it then you should go ahead and get it . lol. I think that the 45 will do it for me. I have done all the rest of the free mods and rejetted, put a white bros. exhaust on it. From what I hear the 45 tooth has a bigger affect then all those mods. So looks like I will be satisfied with that.

OK, but be sure and keep us informed as to what other tweeks are going on.
