Yeah, big deal. Any bike can enter and finish an ISDE as long as it's not a total piece of junk.I'm not sure what those photos are supposed to prove.

Can you street legalize it in all 50 states? If not then we got nothing to worry about. And even if it can be we still got nothing to worry about. We bought our bikes because we loved the look and for other reasons. The Yami looks great, but I will have my KLX 20 years from now.

Yahama makes a good product & I would expect it to take a thrashing & keep on going. Kawasaki has nothing to wory about with the KLX.
As any manufacture, I would expect their product to evolve. I don't care forYahama's FI & the exaust system. That is a aftermarket dream (or nightmare)

I have doubts as to whether or not the KLX could finish the ISDE in one piece.
I recall that a while back, a member entered a local enduro, and DNFed on his KLX. And that was just a LOCAL enduro!

its cool and all, but 15 lbs heavier out of the box than the klx250s. Priced at least 1100 more new, and the ones in the pics are obviously heavily modified(different exhaust, different bars, tires, wheels, etc.) I researched these heavily before getting my klx250s last thursday and Im glad I made the choice. And as far as it finishing a race? big friggin deal. I raced a 1990 DR350S with blown fork seals at a local hare scramble in september and managed a 18 out of almost 30....not counting that was my first hare scramble race. Any bike can finish any race with enough money thrown at it. Grow some ***** guys and go out and race your 250....dont leave your string hanging out just because you heard some guy on a klx250s DNF'd some local enduro. Ill be posting my race results when the 08 hare scramble season gets kicking this coming spring.....

What is wrong with you guys!.. One race and the KLX is doomed?Who cares! My KLX is awesome if you don't like yours sell it and buy a blue bike and then you'll be happy for a little while anyways....
