I have seen several posts where people are concerned about the brightness of the Edge tail light. I did a little searching and ran across Hyerlites. http://www.hyperlites.com/stdsf.html These, put in the right location, would give you the extra brightness you would be looking for. I'm thinking about getting a set for myself for that little extra added safety.

Thats one reason I have strayed from going to an LED settup (because of the brightness)

I'll have it this week to install on my new KLX I pick up this week as well. I'll report back..

 

I ditched mine due to the brightness issue and I wanted to go back to a near-stock setup. I did look into swapping the LEDs for brighter ones at one point, but the brighter LEDs typically have a narrow viewing angle which was also undesirable.

 

ive had people tell me my tail light was out, but they where also in lifted trucks and probably couldnt see it to start with. im not to worried, i supermoto the thing everywhere to keep cars off my tail.
