After looking at pages and pages of post and the hundreds of upgrades that could be done. Which upgrade after being completed if any did YOU say I WISH I DIDN'T DO THAT! Just curious as there are hundreds of things suggested that could be done to these bikes.

 

Only thing I can think of is I installed the flush mounted turn signals on the original rear fender and I never liked that they didn't mount flush. Now I have the Maier MX rear fender with stalk turn signals and I love the look.

 

nope.... i love everything i have done... sets my bike apart.

 

There are several that I haven't done and said "I wish I'd have done that!"

 

KDX snorkel, wasted $25 on it as I'm now running a modifed airbox lid with a larger opening.

 

stupid mini flush mount blinkers, the ones I got are dull enough to be dangerious (ie no-one else can see them working), 1 doesn't work, they are crap.

 

Same as the last two,the way my bike is jetted it runs better without the KDX snorkel,
and the same stupid mini turn signals Garry used.
dose watching my bike go over the side of my trailer count ?

I wish I hadn't bought the Muzzy and had it jetted so good.It has waaaaaaay too much power now, but I'll live with that.[8D][8D][8D]

 

I bought an aftermarket seat, offered for our bikes here in Japan, thinking it would make big improvements to long-distance comfort. The improvement was only marginal and the firmerfoam actually transmitted more shock to therider. Iwish I would have went with Renazco from the beginning....but hindsight's 20-20, so I've learned from the experience.

I traded someone for a stock seat and they paidme about$50.00, so at least the loss was softened. The seat will be sent out tommorrow to James Renazco for a Dec 17 build date. I want to make sure that it doesn't get caught in the Christmas rush on the way out.Return trip is no problem...I have all winter[8D].
