winter riding gear?

RE: winter riding gear?
Take a look at the Fieldsheer stuff. Or others like it out there. I bought the Hydro Tour jacket and over the pant..pants. The jacket has built in armor and it 100% water proof. The pants have zippers all the way from the boot to the hip that make it real easy to get on and off. If that sounds a little heavy for ya, they also make light weight slip on rain gear.

I wear a Joe Rocket Ballistic 6 jacket and Thor Ride pants. They're fairly waterproof/resistant. I have a pair of Sidi waterproof gloves. They're lined and are pretty warm. I also have a motorcycle balaclava, it's nylon to fit under your helmet and fleece to cover your neck and tuck into your jacket collar. Keeps out the Vancouver rain pretty well. I also wear a high-viz reflective vest to avoid being a hood ornament.
Olympia makes a good line of gear, jackets and full suits. A buddy just picked up a high-viz waterproof riding jacket and he's quite happy with it.

You mean that there is a cure for cold weather riding. And here I've been getting use to riding in 40 degree weather with a light duty mechanics t-shirt.
Actually, I've been looking myself. Going into work as stiff as a board and walking funny to warm-up is bothersome. But, I'm flat broke. Tractor & Suppilies might have some good demin cover-alls for a decent price.

+1 on the Thor Ride. I have the pants, jackets, and gloves and you can't beat them for the price. If you have money to burn, KLIM is probably the best. Made right here in Idaho, they made a name for themselves with their snowmobile gear...so they know cold weather!
