Will a Mikuni TM36 fit a KLX250s?...

Hey Everyone!,
I am going to be doing my intake valves before the end of the year and decided to step-up to a 331 from my 300 and install a Tm-36-68. So what has everyone ended up with as far as jetting goes?
Mustangs looks like the closest set up to mine and the elavation in Las Vegas is right around 2500' so that is also close.
Any one else want to chime in with some setups?
Mine will end up like this
Kustom Kraft 331cc, FSW header, Muzzy slip-on, air box lid off, uni-filter, crankcase vent mod. I am going to do stock valves again and do some clean up work in the head (mild)
Thanks Dennis

Well I am almost done with the project the KK big bore kit is installed. I went to put the carb in last night and I could not get the cables to hook up. I have a 2004 300R so the cables might be a little shorter overall, I also have Renthal CR Hi bend bars I think that and the 300 gas tank is a little different on the bottom than the 250s bikes. So I went down to the local bike shop that makes cables and they are making me some longer ones right now. I went with ones 4" longer so I can go across the front of the steerer tube and down the left side of the bike.
If someone could show me how they routed there cables (stock length) that would be great. Hey Kawi kawi, I just looked at the pics in your picasa page and that routing would not owrk on my KLX300 the bottom of the gas tank is completely flat right there so that is the difference. Oh well live and learn. So for all of the KL300R owners beware you might need different cables with this carb!
I will post pics when I am all done!
Thanks Dennis

Sorry to hear about the pneumonia that really sucks!! Try to get better and pinch the cute nurse for all of the guys on the forum!
I tried that routing and it would not work no matter what I did. No big deal I got a call at work today and my new cables are ready! Yippee that means I get to ride this weekend! And to top it off it is raining outside so no dust!!!

On carb fitment, I know of no differences between the '06/'07 and later models. Under-tank space, intake manifold size, distance to airboot, and throttle cable design is all the same. I used the stock pull cable and just rerouted it.
