Will this jet kit work?
Hey guys would this jet kit work on my 2007 KLX 250 ?
http://shop.thumpertalk.com/catalogs...?p=443&s=2
I'm refering to the one under Kawasaki And the one for the KLX300.. Would it include all the jets I need?
I'm also ordering a 13t sunstar front sproket.. Partnumber 34213 right?

No dude I didnt :S.. Does this Jet Kit include the Pilot Jets and The Main jets? And I just read the manual online, it gives instructions of how to drill the slide? Is this only for the 300 or will it work on the 250 too?

I got all my parts from here: http://www.ronayers.com/
If you are running rich, your motorcycle will "pop" on deacceleration. This is better then running too lean IMHO since running to lean heats the motor up too much.
Jet's don't limit your RPM in the Asian market. Look at this thread: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/m_274212/tm.htmto see if you've got the extra holes that need to be filled in.
Jetted perfectly? Does the engine run "cool", does it pull hard without stumbling during acceleration? Do you only have a minor "pop" on deacceleration?
If you are running the N1TC needle from the KLX-300, put the clip at the second position from the top when you put in the main jet and pilot jet.

RE: Will this jet kit work?
www.ronayers.com doesnt have the DynoJet Jettingkit for the klx available.. ? I just checked it out.
My bike was popping on deacceleration from the time I bought it.. I took off the air box lid yesterday and this increased the popping and decreased the performance. Are you sure poppingoccurswhen the bike is Rich?
Ok I'll first order the Jet Kit, then take the carb out and see the slide.. What if it has 3 Holes on the cylinder side of the slide? How do I fill them? With what? And what is 7/64ths? What size drill bit is this?
Ok I understood how to find if my bike is jetted correctly Thanks alot!
Is it the N1TC Needlethe needle that I get with the Dynojet kit?
Thanks alot,
Jamie
