Will FMF Q4 part# 042156 fit 2007 (US Model)? The FMF website says fits 2006, and I know 2006 and 2007 are the same. Just want to know if someone here can confirm with their own 2007. Thanks!

 

Wow, I called FMF Racing Customer Support today to ask if the FMF Q4 Slip-on fits the 2007 KLX250S and the guy couldn't say for sure. What the heck? He said it is listed for only 2006. But, the only other model they sell is for the 2009. No help from FMF. Can anyone here help?

 

I'll check my reciept/box when I get home to verify the part number. I called my local shop and they looked it up on the computer for me. I am 99% sure the application is for the 2006/2007, but I check to be sure.

 

Check this out. I was pretty sure I saw you can put it on somewhere, go figure it was at the FMF site itself. I know for sure you put a Powercore 4 on them too.

Thanks for looking into this, but that product is for a 94-07 KLX250R and it has a different part number. I'm trying to figure out if the part number I posted fits a 2007 KLX250S.

Thanks again Testify4, the slip-on arrived today and fit perfectly. I think I got a good deal at $195 (USD) on eBay. If anyone else is interested the seller has 4 more. The listing says it only fits the 2006 model, but I can now tell you it also fits 2007.

 

I have been watching that ebay auction for two months and I am ready to buy when I get paid tomorrow. BUT there is only two left. So I'll be biting my nails for 24 hours. I mean common 195$ for a 365$ muffler. The only reason I am buying tomorrow is the fact 2 are left. Bike parts werent in the budget for this paycheck damn it LOL. I am single with no kids so the only person that could go hungry is ME
