you should be interested in a big gun because the hmf slip on does not fit well at all, it will melt your rear fender if you don't add a 1" spacer. it's huge and looks weird back there. the BG otoh, fits like a glove and makes tons of power. forget about the hmf, buy the big gun. read the current forum posts to see what i mean regarding the crappy build quality of the hmf. actually, one guy has his brand new in the box for sale for cheap.

yeah, i was just reading them. i cant see the pics though from user "street legal". i dont know why. i am tempted toget the bg but some of my more experienced friends tell me not to.opinions are like arseholes though everybody has one. maybe i will just wait formy two brothers. i do like the idea of the full form bg though, tb is only a slip on.

well, exhausts around here is a touchy subject. some say just buy a slip on and keep the oem header. others say throw the oem header away (me) and get a full system. i have a BG EvoX and love it. it barks awesome and made my KLX fast before any carb rejets or air filter change. after rejetting it was even better. adding a 13 tooth front sprocket helped tons too. remember though if you buy a slip on for a 300, it won't fit on your 250 because the 300's header is longer. you must buy a slip-on made for the 250 or you'll find yourself looking for a oem 300 header. BG is the onlycompany i know of that makes a 250 exclusive slip-on. hmf of course does, but it fits like crap. the muzzy is nice, but i don't think they make a slip-on for the 250 only, just for the 300. but if you buy the muzzy full system it will work because of course you get a header pipe also- and it's stainless steel which won't rust but will discolor after one heating. the BG is ceramic coated and isn't supposed to rust although one guy on here has a BG and it's real rusty up to the canister or muffler. he's trying to get BG to replace it since they claim they won't rust. it's really up to you and what you want and how much you want to spend.

thanks for the input. i guess i will wait for my tb to get here although the wait may kill me. i did not get the carbon fiber slip on though, it was about 100 dollars more.i do have the 13t sprocket, i just put it on last tues. it made a difference for sure but still not happy. my 45t rear will be here monday. i think that will be more of what i am looking for.

Theres been problems with the BIGGUN too and they cant be solved using just a 1/2-1" spacer. There problems are more quality issues than mtg issues. I think all of the kits have certain downfalls.....jmo
