wierd sound during load

I don't think he can pinpoint the sound as it only happens under load. I'd just go and have a look under the clutch cover. In these kind of situations you often take things apart and put them together without finding anything but somehow it fixes the situation.

been studying the sound a bit today
*** you all know the engine has a hiss kinda sound. (air flinging around by either clutch or cam chain or valve train sound)
as the engine warms up it gets slightly louder and scraping (as described earlier) sound gets added to it and most prominent during load
when at a stand still reving the engine that sound is hard to make out but it is very faintly there
gonna buy some new oil and filter next weekend and even get a gasket for the clutch cover to take a peek at the clutch

I'd start with the inspection cover for the clutch-inspect the throwout bearing(clutch release) closely for signs of distress. If that doesn't produce any results you may need to take the case cover off of the r/h side of the engine and take a closer look at the clutch assm.

Check the oil filter too. I had a high pitched whine from the right side when cutting throttle. Changing the oil filter resolved the problem. I suspect the bypass valve in the oil filter acted like a whistle.

Being a little noisy when cold is normal for the manual CCT. I'd be cautious about backing it off too much, but that's certainly something to check.
