Its hard to find the tires I want to fit this bike.

I would love a Pilot Road II or 3 on both front and rear. I can get a front in a 110/70/17 but not a 130/70/17. I saw an off brand 140/70/17 Street type tire at a motorcycle shop with lots of dust on it. $75.00 I may buy it yet. I have a tire machine so changing them is no big deal if I don't like it. My problem is the bike handles so well the way it is,I don't want to screw with it.

This morning I put on a Batlax 045 on the front. Riding home from work was better than the stock tire. 7150 miles on the original front. Still not to the wear bars. Sides were worn as much as the center. Weather checked (dry rot) in the center of the groove. I am going to put one more batlax on the rear so I can give it a fair comparison with the front. 2 rears to one front, I blame the 351.

I put 25 Psi in the new tire. It gets MUCH warmer than the stock tire. I will try 29 tomorrow.

I ran stock pressure on the stock tires at the racetrack and never crashed and I was scraping the bottom of the right footpeg.
Now I run 22psi at the track, the tire still doesn't get hot (I'm 190lbs).

FYI, I ran my friend's Ninja 250 at 35psi and it crashed on smooth pavement.
The Ninja has tubeless versions of the IRC RX01 which is what my Thai bike came with.
So be careful running higher pressures, the IRC RX01 tire isn't sticky enough to handle it.
People in Thailand put these tires on their bikes, so you can shop these wherever you are. Certain 150 tires will fit in back too.

I´ve seen a D-Tracker fitted with Dunlop 150/70. I am planning to fit 140/70 on mine...if I can find it here.

I'm running Dunlop D253s on my DTracker - not sure if they're available in the US (I put them on in Japan) but they grip like crazy. As expected, poor wear in the center from the highway, but awesome traction all the way to the edges.

A 140 rear fits fine, but I don't see how you could wedge a 150 in - I've got a couple mms clearance on each side of the 140.

Next for me will be a US sport tire that wears better in the center.
