Wide footpegs KLX250
I have posted this before but thought I would do it again.
KLX footpegs are hard on the feet, way too narrow. I found these and they have made a huge difference riding off road. I think they were about $39 or so. The web site does not show them for 2009-2012 but if you call or email them, they do have them.

Other posts have said these pegs can be dangerous because they are brittle , so people are spending the extra money for the IMS footpegs.
However, these are pretty tempting. If I am reading the site correctly, they are only $10. Is there any way to test them out besides hitting them with a hammer (I think someone tried that approach)?

I have these on both a 2012 KLX250 and a 2009 KLX250 and have ridden them HARD. Never a problem....I do lots of desert riding with lots of rocks, etc. They do have some close out models for $10, but the current KLX pegs are about $39 or maybe a bit higher. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

I bought three sets of these cheap pegs. KLX250s, KDX200 and KX100 all ridden hard and no failures so far. I paid around $10 a set at D2 moto. They are heavy, but they are cheap and should hold up on a KLX.

Thanks for the info on your experiences with these.
I didn't see any pegs for $39 on the D2moto website. I ordered the $10 pegs that are supposed to fit a 1997-2007 Kawasaki KLX 300R. I hope they fit my 2006 KLX250s.

Me too...one bike with them for 3 years, another for 18 months and they have been great.
