My bars bent when my bike fell over in my driveway. Replaced them with Pro-Tapers, which by the way, absorb a bit more vibration than steel. Added Pit Posse bar risers and much better set-up. I have the CR-high rise.

Lighter and I wanted it in black. I got Renthal. Stock one bent in a crash on asphalt, but I was planning to replace it, anyways.

Serious??? Come on...

I crashed on hard-packed dirt/gravel last season. I broke my collar bone, my hand was pinned under the handlebar, which squashed the ring I was wearing on my finger!

I didn't have the Maier hand guards mounted on it back then. It tweaked my triple clamp a little, but the handlebars are fine. I cannot believe falling over while stationary can bend the stock bars... I'm calling BS!!!

Flexx bars are way nice but expensive. Run em if you can afford them. I can buy 4 pro taper cr hi bends for one flexx bar...

I've been thinking about putting my carbon fiber MTB bar on my SF Haha.

But I want a wider bar, so I can move the lever in a bit, for more efficient one/two finger lever use.

I got the Zeta motard-medium bend oversize. They are tuff & look good!!

This handle bar simulator is good for checking out different bends etc

Physics. Handlebars are essentially a lever. Depends on the angle and forces of impact.
