Where to get a smog block off kit?

Default Where to get a smog block off kit?

Does anyone sell them for the 2006 or will I need to buy one for a klx300?

??? do you mean to block off the part on the front of the motor?
I used a 1/2" bolt threaded into the hose then clamped with small hose clamp.
Other stuff like the air box and carb can be capped off with a simple vacum hose kit from any auto parts store.
Check out the free mods on Planet KLX.
Oh yeh...Bill Blue makes a plate that will block the port on the front of the motor.

Keep an eye on the rubber if you buy the auto-parts kit. They will eventually rot. I ran mine rotted for quite a while and attributed bubbling and detonation in the muffler on deceleration to faulty jetting.

Nope, it was the rotted ports sucking in air.

I like to go through some water from time to time, so that probabaly made them rot faster.

This is a link to bill's website he makes a plate for it...or just find a why to do it at home! I used a bolt couple hoseclamps and some silicone.

I didnt even know about all that stuff. What does capping all those hoses and ports do? Raise compression and horse?
