No doubt a good choice. Have you checked out the XR650R, a couple people around here have them plated. Bad ***, but you have to kick start them. The XR650L is more available and is really capable with knobbies. If I could only have one bike I would love a KTM 690 enduro, same weight as the KLX but 50 HP. Maybe they will make a Husqvarna version and I will be pushed over the edge, I always liked Huskys.

2veedubs.......gotta agree. I always wanted a Desert Master, a Penton, or a big nasty Maico, but this one isn't too bad, either.

I've had chances to pick them up with no miles for <2200 bucks. But I messed my knee up a while ago, and kicking starting causes extreme pain it's okay, that much power would get me in trouble anyway

2014 BETA 450 RS. I really like the idea of the build your own beta program. You can choose all the aftermarket parts you want, have them installed by dealer at no extra cost and parts are all at dealer cost.

Got my dream bike and I'm loving it! 2014 Beta 498RR Racing Edition - I've had the suspension revalved and sprung for my weight, put a Rekluse Core EXP 3.0 and LHRB, and a few other things. The bike rocks!

At the moment I want a Moto Guzzi V7 Racer or a Triumph Bonneville.
For Dirt a KDX220 or a KTM 200/300.

I'd like to get a BMW F800GT next.

But I also really like the new 2015 Yamaha SR400.

That Yamaha looks a lot like a Triumph Bonneville.
