I've never had anybody complain about the rear pegs. They seem to work great to keep the passengers feet out of the spokes and off of the ground. Wife and I have taken some long trips, well 70 miles long, but long enough that if the pegs were a problem I would have heard about it.

If the pegs were in any other place they would be in the way.

the rear footpegs are for water crossings and keeping your feet dry.

I have used them once to carry a passenger to get fuel for their Jeep. And again as a tie down point when I hauled my KLX in the bed of the Ranger to New York. All other times, I leave them folded up. I leave on, because you just never know when you might need them.

My pegs are staying. My gf sometimes rides with me. Plus I agree they would be good tie down points or uses for gas cans or somethin. They fold up so no biggie to me.

Dan, where do you come up with all these pics of me riding my bike? Are you stalking me?

Hey...look at all those bus passengers with their noses pressed up against the windows...LOL!

But does he ride with you to the ice cream stand?

Sorry, David, but I'm never going to forget that story.
