What's the difference?

What's the difference?
Recently I was made aware that the US spec 06 klx did not have a carby heating system.
Then I looked at a US wiring diagram and noticed 2 other differences.
We/Aus/mine has no throttle position sensor and no gear position switch. (only the nuetral light)
It would appear that the US ignition box is more safisticated.
Is anyone aware ofany performance differences between the US and Aus models as a consequence of these differences?
Or are they there for enviromental reasons?
Are there any others?

RE: What's the difference?
This is my stock US carb with the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). I don't notice any difference in performance with this removed. Maybe it's necessary on a CV carb? I dunno much about those at all.

I've rode bikes in that configuration and have noticed NO difference.

Did your stock carb have the carby heating system?
If yes, what did you do with the hoses when you installed the pumper?
