Thanks for bumping this. I won't yet do this much on my new ride since its low miles. However, now that all of the fluids are changed I will start to pick and choose. I am using the manual to go through the bike -go figure.

This will be very helpful for me.

Awesome! I'm really looking forward to the learning experience that comes along with going through the service manual and doing all of the maintenance. Should be a lot of fun!

One thing I see on this bike compared to my 2006 is that the weakish subframe at the rear is one gauge. Mine is welded and smaller at the point where the battery bracket is located and rearward and about the same on the other side. Maybe they made them better after some failures.

NOTE to anyone finding this post next year or the year after. I am making this out to be a big deal since I bought a new bike, I am ****, I am a newbie etc etc.
