Well now, that's a bit of a drive but it's sure doable for > $1k price difference! I'll just have to give them a call.

Thanks!

OK, where can I get a brand new 2007 for $3547 OTD? The "good deals" I've seen are $4500 OTD, and they aren't near me. I'm afraid our local dealers are going to be closer to $5k! These (and DRZs) are in extremely high demand around here and are just not available used.
but don't forget to tack on all the dealer extras like PUTTING IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!! and all the other BS.......I call baloney (balogna cr sp for deej) on their deal......

Fact of the matter is the sale price was $3412 plus $135 documentation fee. Paid in full and on my credit card. It was the *#&%heads at the local dealership that wanted $600 to put it together, $240 for delivery, and $175 for documentation. Yes I got a smokin' good deal. It seems the dealer was backed up with inventory so I scored a good deal.

The local *#&%heads said they couldn't cut any of those fees and their motorcycle was full retail price too. They only successful haggling was a $500 store credit for overpriced riding boots, helmet, and a jacket.

Add $175 for the DMV and I'm done.

i'm about to pay 4675 for a brand new 2007 from a shop in NH. put 500 down to hold it till i get there,
and will intend to do some negotiatin once i person. tried to get the dealer down to 4300 but he really didn't
budge on the phone.
told hi i'd pay i cash he said it didn't matter...its the last 2007 left out of like 10 shops i called in New England.
he also said that is OTD, no other fees for the shop, 4675 and i'm out.
still think it's too high though.

Well Sid, you got a great deal. We're talking about an '07 KLX250S, right? I just got off the phone with Rand at White Knuckle Motorsports and they have two '07 models left. They are both priced at $4499, and he didn't quote that as an OTD price. Man, I'd drive down there for sure for anything less than $4k OTD!

When I told him I had heard that they had sold one for $3500, he was pretty surprised. He said maybe it was a "one-time deal" they did on E-bay or something.

I'm considering selling my 2006 KLX250S. What is a reasonable asking price?

The particulars: Bike is totallystock except forProTaper bars and re-jetted for 7500' (I live in Denver). The bike has just under700 miles on it (mostly street miles).Followed (still following) the factoryRMP limits for break in. Adult owned and ridden. Looks brand newbut, on close inspection theplatics have a few minor scrathes typical to off road use. Changed the oil twice. Clean title and so on.

The ProTaperscame afterbending the stock bars during myfirst and only wipeout on this bike, a 5 mph non-incident which occuredtyring to ride throughthe ditchbetween road and trail.

The bike runs as good and I have no complaints aboutit. I justdon't have enough time to get outin the woods andusethe bike for its intendedpupose.

Thanks for your help.

You should ask Iowaguy. He's theresident expert on what other people should sell their bikes for (and how much we should pay as well).

$3547 out the door for a brand new 2007 model. I think you would need to beat that on a used model. However, the used ones around me were all in the $3500 and up range. Maybe they sold to someone else?
Bullshhit.
