I'm thinking 1969-70, or close. Got them for the trials bike and the flat tracker. I had the alloy ones on the T constantly dented or bent.

Jb weld is just epoxy, and not a great one, either. The plastics are polypropylene, and not much sticks to that.

I suppose i should have been more clear. A picture would have been best!

When I repaired my cracked radiator shroud (not broken into two pieces), I did not use JB to make a butt joint. I did not use the JB between the parts but as the adhesive on the back of the plastic to bond the mesh to the plastic. IF, the JB is not a great epoxy, it has held up well for me. I did clean and scuff up the plastic before applying the JB and mesh.

As they say, your mileage may vary!
