What size tire? What do you run?

What size tire? What do you run?
Today I bought some Pirelli Scorpion A/T 90 tires. I'm wondering if my rear tire will work. The front is a 90/90-21 which I have read is a 1/2 inch wider but, fits fine. The rear is a 120/80-18 which has a 96mm sidewall versus the factory spec 100mm. When I got home and looked at my motorcycle, I'm wondering ifthe rear tirewill hit the chain or swingarm because the factory spec Dunlops have very little clearance at the swingarm where it narrows toward the frame.
Do we have a FAQ or maybe we need a sticky of tire reviews on our motorcycles. I think this would be helpful to a lot of new riders. I'm sure most people will miss some good posts buried in old threads. Maybe I can start with an original review of the Scorpions?
Anyway, THANKS for helping me with the tire size dilemma.

RE: What size tire? What do you run?
Sid, I'm running the Dunlop D606's with the rear at 120/90-18 - I wouldn't go any larger than that. It has just enough clearance but it is a tall tire and will change the gearing a tad. I also have a set of Pirelli Scorpion A/T's on my Isuzu 4X4 (okay, not the same as the bike tire) - but I love 'em!

Kenda K270's, Front 3.00x21, Rear 4.50x18.
The P-Metric recommended is Front 80/100-21, Rear 100/100-18. Alternate is Front 90/90-21, Rear 120/80-18.
Inch Recommended is Front 3.00x21, Rear 4.60x18.

My rear is a 130/80-18 dunlop D607 T-max and it has plenty of room....yes it definatley changed the gearing, but for the street as an ADV commuter bike it's perfect.
