what to mod next? yes another big bore question

thanks neil, i would ask you to come on sunday for a ride, but i dont think you would make it here in time even if u left now. lol, i am big bloke about 6'3 and 85kgs. the klx is a little bit too small but with some high rise bars that should be solved.
is the carby from bill blue plug and play?

I'm going to get caned for this but anyway.
If I was 6'3" and 85, DRZ all day.
70% road, DRZ (e) all day. (even though it could do with a 6th gear)
My mate Rob (6'1" & 85) recently traded up to a DRZ.
Ask him, no looking back.
You will eventually go up to a bigger bike so it's whether or not you do it before you spend the $$ on the KLX.
If you haven't already, go and ride one.
The pumper from Bill is almost plug and play.
You may need to alter jetting but it's an easy mod to do.
BTW, I'm 5'4" (average hieght of a girl so I'm told. )(quite often by my riding mates). The DRZ is a bit of a handful when it gets tight. Plus I have sunk over $A5k in mods into the KLX so I'm more all less married to it now.

i think i will up grade eventually, but after a buy a 4wd the money tree is going to be fairly thin.
there is also something satisfying about building something unique instead of buying it, may not be the fastest but the most original.
and its good fun modding.
you say that ur klx is much modified and spent 5g on it, what have you put on and hat were you results, pwr and 1/4mile if u did it. what mods do u like/dislike, would you do them again etc

Mikuni Pumper
Big Gun full system
No air box lid and Uni filter
Barkbuster Ego hand guards
Pro taper bars
B & B bash plate
Ripped out dash and replaced with Zumo 550 GPS
(this included removal of key switch and speedo cable)
Removed all surplus electrics, chain guard, rear extension etc.
Replaced indicators with small enduro type.
Acerbis dimension headlight
Had suspension revalved and lowered by Shock Treatment.
.44 front springs (arrived yesterday and will be fitted tomorrow night)
Clarke fuel tank
Vortex throttle
Removed rear rack and stock tool kit and replaced with Otter Box.
Heavy duty tubes and rim lock.
Front fender pouch
I think thats all.
Apart from the big bore there isn't anything I would do differently next time.
No 1/4 mile time but dyno result.

found this dyno from bill blue and found out what he was running
Stock KLX 250 header, Super Trapp slip-on muffler w/5 discs, Mikuni pumper flat slide TM33/34 carb. Kenda K270 5.10-18 rear tire. Stock gearing & 6th gear run.
Pilot jet 40, main jet 140, air box lid on, KDX 200 snorkle, air box backfire screen removed, crankcase vent modified.
Stock valves, ports cleaned, 351 c.c. piston 12.5:1 compression on regular pump gas
but 26.5rw/hp is great, id say with the aussie spec cdi, it would push closer to 30rw/hp.
the thread that i read also mentioned that a stock klx puts out 18rw/hp usa spec.
