What the hell was i thinking
A couple of weeks ago we had a heat wave hear in the north west,so I thought what a great time to try my new trailer.
So i loaded up the bikes and kids and off we went,Cultus lake is only fifty miles away from home and has some good riding spots.
The day after we settled in we went looking for some fun, but it was hot very hot 41 celsius, we found a small track to play on but it was too hot for that so we tried the power lines, after ten minutes my sons bike quit, I thought he was going to die kicking that thing over, long story short ninety minutes and a lot of sweat later she fired up,we headed strait for the truck and called it a day, but i got a few pictures before the day ended.

Protective shorts...hilarious man! Yea on my trip to Oregon last month it was pretty hot as well. Power lines were fun. Nice trailer, is that an 18ft? I want one of those someday. Thanks for the pics.

No matter how you look at it, it sure beats working, right?
Good fun there riding around power lines.
And you just have to love those waterparks, cool water, lots of mommys . . . . . . . .

Very nice greenery and some sweet trails. Only 41C? For a canuck that is pretty hot. Just a month ago we were at +50C when geocaching in the sand dunes. You go as far as you can in the soft stuff, summer is worst as the dunes dry out, then hike the remainder. Still a day off and having fun, even hot fun is better than a day working! Hottest I have worked in was 156F in the shade while working in Bahrain, the dome for the antennas was even worse! Could only hande 5 minutes at a crack in there, and we were sweating buckets literally! Where I am now 50C is about the highest we get, give or take a few. The humidity is what really kills you.
