rod, buddie flying j is like 5 miles from my dads house. ya gotta tell me next time your going out that way.

ORIGINAL: 002197rp

Thought I'd sign in with pricing from the Stockton, CA area (mid state).

Diesel @ $3.999
Reg (87 octane) @ $3.459
Safeway Store, Reg @ $3.519
(mentioned only because they are usually much less than competition)
The above pricing is from the Fuel Pricing website mentioned earlier.

FWIW: I filled the motorhome at Flying J in Lodi, CA four days ago and it cost me $313.50 for #2 diesel. ($4.189 pr gal)

How does that grab ya?

RE: What is everyone paying for gas?

Gas went up to $4.33/US gal or $5.18/IMP Gal which is $1.14/Liter. They are predicting $1.40/liter which is $5.32/US Gal or $6.36/ IMP Gal Here in northern Alberta and we are one of the largest producers of oil an gas in the world. The US Vice Prez came and toured the Ft, McMurray oil sands Which is the largest in the world!!! and at over $100.00 a barrel for crude we wont see lower gas prices EVER!!

Ken

US gal is approx 3.8 liters
IMP gal is approx 4.54 liters

RE: What is everyone paying for gas?

We're at $3.18 a gallon here in central Maryland. We're seeing a 'futures bubble'. The prices we're experiencing are largely due to the falling value of the dollar coupled with the volatility in the stock market. Investors are putting their money in commodities and gold instead of real estate and stocks. The price per barrel of crude oil is completely detached from the supply and demand constraints of a normal market. We'll see a correction eventually as there is simply no shortage in crude oil at all.

RE: What is everyone paying for gas?

Theres also speculation that its caused by a bombing of a pipeline in the middle east. And no theres not really a shortage, but there isn't exactly a surplus either. I know that before "spring breakup", we couldnt get it out of the ground fast enough. Now that the ground is soft up here, we can't go get it for a while.

Lots of things that contribute to it, but one thing is for sure, we won't be paying much less at the pumps anytime soon or ever.

3.21 for reg. and 3.41 for 93 .I havn't put gas in the truck for a month now as the bike has been the daily commuter.6.22 per week is what it cost me to go to work all this past week....alot cheaper than the 37 it would cost me for the same mileage in the truck.
