IG??? what percentage of Ethanol are you running in your vehicle? the eastern US is quite slow to go into this besides forcing the E-10 on us (which is good anyway) instead of using that MTBE crap (oxygenated) for the winter.I know you can get E-85 but what other blends are readilly available to the general public in your area?just curious.

Yeah but i saw diesel for 3.79 on I-70 just outside of Pittsburgh on saturday afternoon!!!!! just think if you had twin 200 gallon tanks on your rig!!!!!that would be 1326$ for 350 gallons.the extra 50 is like reserve for us on the klx...at 5.5 mpg (which would be about typical for a 500 hp or 525 hp rig pulling a 53' box you would get 1925 miles from your gig....that is an average tho.very poor bang for the buck.and this is why everything is starting to cost more.most items are shipped to consumers by truck.

Yea, big freaking deal, diesel went down from $3.78 to $3.48, that's still $2.00 higher than it was 5 years ago when I first bought the truck. And we're suppose to be happy? That's where they get you, the reality of paying high prices for fuel, and then when it does drop a little, the consumer is supposed to be happy. Whatever.[:@] I miss $1.38, how about that? Then I might smile again. $120.00 to fill up my truck? I don't think so. I filled it up last week, and its still full, and I'm protesting by riding the KLX. I just hope I can keep both wheels on the ground. Ice hurts.

same here DEEj....My truck is parked and rain or shine i ride the bike.....just a tip...The Dunlop D607's in our size are very sticky in wet weather.....I ran in some snow the other weekend before i put on the TMII's for an offroad ride with cool change and i just had to switch back....but then again i do have a 14 mile ride to work....you are alot closer so it's easier to deal with. The TMII's are not friendly to me in the rain and crummy weather at legal road speeds....especially around here.we have so many trucks that haul asphalt and think it's great to fuel down their truck bodies to "unstick" the blacktop that they usually have it running out the tailgate....it's like flat tracking on the way home frome work sometimes....It just [:@]me off!!!!! I wish cagers could crash like we could sometimes....maybe it would teach them something.

I wonder if part of the reason is also more people drive diesel CARS, like those retarded smart cars. Jeep liberty's also have them and a bunch of volkswagons do too i think. Diesel should never be more than regular gasoline.
You should see how much diesel an oil rig uses a day. Blimey.
