I agree wholeheartedly - that is if you go up way too far or down too far.
Please understand that there are a lot of "old wives tales" floating around. Heck, if you don't understand something just say, "I heard it causes this, that or the other."
I've had the raising links on my KLR650 for almost two years now. It has not caused any problems. Of course, I did not go to the extreme. I changed the geometry very little. There is no difference in the way the bike handles, other than the rear suspension actually works now. As you ride down the road, when you hit a bump, you can feel the suspension doing what it's supposed to do.
Heck, I was even talking with John over at Moto-Pro suspension about them. He thinks they will make a good addition on the KLX.
We shall see.
