sweet little track you got there.
Yeah when i got my muzzy installed, i forgot about the FMF and called them a few days later (by this time it should have been shipped according to them) but of course i got the "its ready to go we're just waiting for it".
I told him to cancel it and he seemed happy. Tools. Not to say muzzy was any better. 2 months for the muzzy, but worth it.

Alright folks,
Im sure a few of you have been waiting for my input on this subject since my bike was used by FMF for the prototype. Here we go...I am just as dissapointed as all of you who attempted to purchaseyour exhaust from FMF, I belive it is not good business practice to take an order for a product and not deliver within a resonable amout of time, also I belive that any sales staff (from any company) should be honest with regards to delivery dates, FMF sales staff are in the front office of the manufacturing faclity and should be able to take a walk out back to check on a order. It appears to me that FMF has failed the folks in this forum with their "sales support"
Personally I am very happy with the exhaust and I will spill the beans now: the exhaust I gotwas freefor the use of the bike, But I did not want to bring that up because I really felt that they have a superior product....But I will be the first to say that it looks like sales support sucks!
Enough said....Hurl all insults in my direction![sm=bicker.gif]

I don't know how long FMF has been making pipes for the KLX250S but it can't be that long. That might explain the long delivery times if they are still gauging demand and don't yet have enough sales data to predict how many pipes they need to make per month. FMF has been making pipes for a while, though. I'm sure they'll get it figured out. But it seems like even Muzzy, BG, and others who've offered pipes for this bike for a longer time get caught behind every now and then, too.
But I don't know why you'd think anyone would raz you about getting a free pipe - seems to be pretty much SOP for folks willing to offer up their bikes for the prototype, from skid plates to panniers. Lucky you!

Too Bad, I talked to FMF they are shipping mine on Monday the 27th. Will have it by Thursday! Have had the head pipe for two weeks. Worth the wait.
