Default Weighed her out...

Weighed my KLX today; ready to ride with about 1 gallon of fuel, she weighs 273 pounds. Not exactly a lightweight, but neither am I.

Reckon i lost about 30lbsreplacing the headlight and instruments and all 4 blinkers. Also taking off the rear rack and that rear long mudguard thing. If I can find a set of scales I'll weigh it all.

Yeah, i like to see some of these bikes, including the WR's, placed on a scale without the fuel/oil coolant.Agreat manymotorcycle companies almostalways lie about the weight. I don't know how they get away with it. Historically, Kawasakis are almost always heaver than what they report for 'dry weight.' I think it was Honda that has alwaysreported theirs accurately.

Mine was 300# all ready to ride with a full tank. My pistol case was mounted on the rack (3#), I had an extra gallon-ish of gas (6#) and I have the stock exhaust with converter (8# ?). Sounds like your machine is still a few pounds off of mine. Likely the turn signals and rear clean up, so it looks like they match up.
