Weekend ride pics
The weather wasn't the greatest but I still made it out for a ride on Sunday afternoon. First stop was at a dam in the village of St.Martins.
The small shack is open in the summer and has a plexi glass window on the other side where you see under the water, not sure what if any fish would be in there.
The water then flows under one of two covered bridges and then emptys into the bay.
Left the dam and headed for the woods to explore coastline...
Came up to a clearing and quickly found this was as far in as I could go...
Because just behind my bike is this...
About 75 foot shear drop, held my arm out straight over the edge of the cliff for this picture, it was a long ways down!
Since I couldn't go any further out, I continued along the edge of the coast.
Deeper in the woods I came along a small stream crossing.
That came into a nice switchback
Nice spot in the trail with drop off to the side leading down to the stream I had crossed earlier.
Not a place you'd want to go off the trail...
The trail behind...
The trail ahead...
Which brought me to here
I won't be making this water crossingtime to turn around and head back.
It was a great ride!

Awesome photos, Mark. It looks like you had a great time. That's what these bikes are all about, isn't it? Going almost anywhere and still getting home in time for dinner...usually, anyway.

Nice pics man, watch those small sticks on the trail, they can really mess you up. My wife and I got on the bikes and rode to the ocean yesterday. Kind of windy, she hasn't experienced that yet, good for her, but she was a little nervous. Thanks for posting the pics, I will never get tired of seeing pictures of places other people ride. Thumbs waaaaaaaaay up.

nice pics, hey mark, how is the power difference from the 250 to the 450 yami, i like the crf 450x but i didn;t know if the money was worth the hassle of gettin a new bike, just wonderin how much more power it gave you and how easy it is to notice the power difference
