Well bought two fire arms today.

1 Kahr PM9 all black for everyday carry
2 kel tech 380

My wonderful city makes you wait 3 weeks for the purchase permit (which is against mi law) before taken them home. I"m waiting for my permit for my ccw so it will be close on either one if I have a cpl I don't need the cities permission.

How come our government is not enforcings laws anymore? If I didn't pay my taxes I sure wouldn't be on any presidential cabinet, in control of the IRS no less. I'd be in prison sure as ****. Illegal immigrants flooding in, the city of Lincoln Park violating Michigan law,etc,etc,etc....... It's no longer a government of the people for the people. It's a government of campaign contributions and special interests, and insane political correctness. No one seems to care anymore. We're letting apathy and lazziness allow special interests and crack pot legislators, city councils and judges chip away at our rights and freedom one little bit at a time, and by the time most people realize it it will be too late. We need to stand up and demand our legislators follow the will of the people that elected them and not the will of big corpporations and small special interest groups that give them a lot of money.

I agree with roadglider. You hit the nail on the head "Apathy and Laziness." I think the problem is more people care about American Idol, a celebrity's death, octo-mom or the latest sex scandal, etc. than worry about where the nation is going. Yes, our rights are being eroded and our taxes are going up. Seems like too many people these days are just looking for their handout rather than looking at the big picture.

Back to guns though, kgwld1 - congrats on your purchase.

Put up some pics of those toys!! I'm not trying to fuel the off topic political fire here but speaking of american idol etc, I thought it was funny to see the prez on ESPN filling out the colege b-ball brackets. BTW I think he has enough time, and every right to follow the sport, and to have an opinion on how it will unfold. It just looked funny.

He needs to live up to the campaign promise of a college football playoff!

Thumbs up

Congrats! I've picked up a couple toys in the last two months, too:
  • Walther P22 for suppressor use
  • Sig Mosquito .22 for suppressor use
  • S&W Scandium 360 .38 snubbie
  • S&W M&P 9mm
  • Beretta 92 for suppressor use
  • Beretta PX4 9mm
  • Springfield XD micro 9mm
You NEED your CWP, fast! Here in SC, you just show your card, fill out the 4473, pay, and walk out the door with your gun. Can't beat that! To hell with waiting periods! When I want to shoot paper -- I want to shoot it now damn it!

Kahr's are damned good shooting guns, but their customer service sucks worse than Taurus'. Visit the Kel-Tec forums and read on the simple "tweaks" for the P3AT. A cute gun that's sadly falling to the wayside due to the introduction of the Ruger LCP.

Enjoy your purchases, and post pics when they come in!

Just waiting on the cpl who knows how long that will be. I called the Michigan state police and what my city is doing is illegal and the state police know about it i also wrote the NRA and will see about that.
As far as the Kel Tec I got it for $100 cheaper then the Ruger so thats why I bought it.

Not to mention, the P3AT's can be found pretty easily now that everyone and their brother are trying to find the damn LCP's. Our local LEO supply place has over 80 on backorder. One/two a week is about all they get in.
